SOWND for ChatGPT

What it does

Once connected, ChatGPT can look up your SOWND data when you ask a question. No exports, no spreadsheets. Try things like:

• “How many gigs did I play this year?”
• “Which invoices are unpaid?”
• “What did I earn in Q3?”
• “Which past gigs haven't I invoiced?”

Connect it in ChatGPT

1. In ChatGPT, open Plugins, choose Add, then Add custom MCP server.
2. Name it SOWND and paste https://www.sownd.studio/mcp as the server URL.
3. Sign in with the same account you use in the SOWND app: Google, Apple, or email and password.
4. Review what ChatGPT will be able to read, then choose Allow access.

SOWND is on its way to ChatGPT's plugin directory. Once it's listed, you'll find it under Plugins and connect it in one step.

What ChatGPT can read

The connector gives ChatGPT five read-only tools. ChatGPT picks the one that fits your question.

• Account overview get_account_context

  Your artist name, your username, your main currency and how many gigs you have in SOWND.

• Gigs list_gigs

  Your gigs in a date range, upcoming or past, with the fee and whether each one is invoiced yet.

• Invoices list_invoices

  Your invoices: number, client, total, currency, issue date, due date, paid date and whether it is overdue. Drafts are listed separately.

• Earnings earnings_summary

  Your money per currency: what was paid (by payment date), what you invoiced (by issue date), what is still outstanding split into overdue and not yet due, and a month by month breakdown.

• Gigs to invoice uninvoiced_past_gigs

  Past gigs that don't have an invoice yet, so nothing slips through.

What it can't do

• Change anything. It cannot create, edit or delete gigs, invoices or clients.
• Send invoices, emails or messages for you.
• Read any other artist's data. It only ever sees your own account.
• Take payments or touch your subscription.

Disconnect any time

Go to sownd.studio/connect, sign in, and revoke ChatGPT. It loses access right away. You can also remove the plugin in ChatGPT's settings.

Your privacy

• SOWND doesn't store your prompts or your conversations with ChatGPT.
• We keep a record of which app is connected, when it was last used, and a short usage event (which tool ran and whether it worked) for product analytics.
• Access tokens last one hour. Sign-in tokens are stored only as one-way hashes and stop working the moment you disconnect.
• ChatGPT receives the answers you ask for and handles them under OpenAI's own privacy terms.
